This role will drive continuous improvement in service by monitoring and measuring service metrics across the transportation network. Priorities for this role are:
Provide analysis on reports and dashboards related to service processes and KPI’s.
Support initiatives to improve the service performance and work with regional service leads to correct deviations in the transportation network. The Transportation Service Lead will be considered the subject matter experts in reporting on service nationally.
Work with service and customer experience stakeholders to understand service and customer experience functional needs, opportunities and pain points to guide the organization towards solutions to better serve the receiver through continuous Improvements.
Regular sharing of best practices, and trends that highlight opportunity and risk to be considered further.
Perform root cause analysis and data compliance checks to instill a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop, implement and manage multiple projects providing realistic and accurate timelines, resource requirements and activity plans.
Champion and lead regional process improvement initiatives which align to the company’s strategic operating plan.
Identify and drive implementation of short-term to long-term initiatives to improve the service we provide to our customers.
Work with corporate and business unit partners to align on strategic actions to address shared challenges.
Identify strategic and tactical opportunities and make recommendations for improvements.
Must have a strong background in data analysis, preparation and standardization to be considered the subject matter experts in reporting on service nationally.
Ability to understand and capture critical customer needs and be up-to-date on current market and industry trends
Knowledge of operations research tools and methodologies such as Optimization, simulation, modeling, engineering statistics, among others.
Strong competency with spreadsheets, and database software.
Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects:
Ability to work with a high degree of detail and accuracy constantly meeting deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success.
Strong analytics and creative problem solving skills with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Broad approach to problem solving and decision making through objective analysis and planning. Establish an environment of continuous improvement. Choose what is best for PCL its partners and all employees as a whole.
Identify and resolve opportunities common to Purolator and group of company’s networks, including design, modeling and optimization.
