Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food safely and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with plating dishes and garnishing to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by performing various prep tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety regulations and health department guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
