Heidi the Tutor was founded in 2019 and is locally owned and operated in Calgary, Alberta. They provide private tutoring services for children from grade 3 to 12, in math, science, English and social studies. Sessions are offered online as well as in-person.
Job description
THIS POSITION HAS A START DATE OF SEPTEMBER 2023.
We are looking for tutors for math and science who are qualified to teach students up to grade 12. Experience is not necessary but preferred. Applicants must submit their most recent academic transcript along with a letter of intent.
This is a part-time position ranging from 2 hours per week to 15 hours per week. You will be assigned to students and provide tutoring services in your choice of subject. Training will be provided along with resources to conduct the lessons.
Some of the qualities we are looking for include: excellent communication skills (written and verbal), friendly and enjoyable to work with, have an excellent academic background, punctual and have a high level of accountability.
