MiLo Group Ltd. is looking for a Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic service team. This is a full-time, field-based role supporting our clients in Red Deer and surrounding communities.
What You'll Do:
As part of our Service Team, you will:
- Perform small-scale commercial installations and service work
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain: Commercial, agricultural, and residential plumbing systems, Hydronic systems (boilers, commercial hot water tanks, pumps, controls, etc.), and Furnaces and HVAC components (if experienced).
- Follow applicable safety protocols, codes, and company policies
- Participate in the on-call rotation (as required)
- Recommend comprehensive, proactive repairs and maintenance solutions
- Stay local – no out-of-town work or long hauls
What We're Looking For:
- Registered apprentice with the AIT - 3rd year preferred
- 3-4 years of plumbing service experience preferred (commercial or mixed sector)
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Alberta plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on service call
- Knowledge of MiLo products and terminology (we’ll help you get up to speed!)
- Industry experience preferred
