Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, to verify financial data integrity.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee payments.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing financial reports and tracking expenses against budgets.
- Maintain organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and transaction logs for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and payroll procedures.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account analysis processes.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting is preferred.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
