Position: Transport Supervisor- Shift 2

Wages: $ 37.00 – $ 37.50 per hour for 30 hours/week
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
Job Duties:
· Resolve worker problems or collaborate with truck drivers to assist in problem resolution.
· Confer with customers, contractors, or other personnel to exchange information or to resolve problems
· Explain and demonstrate work tasks to new truck drivers or provide training to them.
· Enforce safety rules and regulations.
· Review orders, shipping or receiving notices to determine work sequences and material shipping dates, types, volumes, or destinations.
· Supervise work to ensure proper performance and use of equipment.
· Plan and establish schedules to coordinate work and meet deadlines for delivery of products.
· Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations and oversee expenditures
· Requisition of needed personnel, supplies, equipment, parts, or repair services.
· Plan work assignments and truck allocations on timely manner to ensure schedules are met.
Education: Completion of Secondary School Graduate Certificate
Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the similar field
