Toronto Terminals Railway | Toronto, Ontario, Canada (TTR) is hiring for multiple positions within the Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC). We are looking for motivated, safety-focused individuals to join our Track Department and support critical rail infrastructure in a 24/7 operating environment.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Track Person
Responsible for performing manual track maintenance and repair work, including assisting with track structure repairs, inspections, and general maintenance activities.
Flagman (Flag Person)
Responsible for providing safe work protection for crews and contractors, coordinating flagging requirements, and ensuring compliance with railway safety rules and procedures.
Operator
Responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment used in track maintenance and construction, while supporting safe and efficient rail infrastructure operations.

General Requirements (All Positions)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Valid G Class Driver’s License required
- Ability to follow railway rules, procedures, and safety standard
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Employer-sponsored work permits are not available for these positions
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of 3-5 years of Canadian Railway experience
· Must have a valid driver's license (G Class);
· General railway safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment in rail maintenance as related to drilling, cutting, grinding and welding;
· Must be able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions as well as possess good verbal communication skills.
