QC/QA Welding Quality Coordinator - Steel Manufacturing -
This is a steel fabrication of pre-engineered steel building facility.
Shift - Day and Afternoon Shift
**Pay rate determined based on skills and experience brought forth
- Experience working in a structural steel fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge to interpret steel fabrication drawings and welding symbols .
- A strong understanding of dimensional tolerances, fit-up, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control procedures.
- Working knowledge of industry standards such as CSA W47.1, CSA W59, and ISO quality management systems is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring fabricated steel components meet project specifications, customer requirements, company quality standards, and applicable industry codes before they leave the shop.
- Working alongside senior welders, they will support quality inspections, verify fabrication accuracy, maintain quality documentation, identify non-conformances, and assist with corrective actions to ensure consistent product quality
- Suited for someone with strong, hands-on structural steel fabrication experience
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Holland Landing, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
