Corktown Designs is growing, and we're looking for one to two enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associates to join our team in Toronto's historic Distillery District.
Recently relocated within our flagship store, Bergo Designs, Corktown is entering an exciting new chapter. With a refreshed space, updated product lines, and a renewed vision, we're building an elevated shopping experience centered around thoughtfully curated jewelry, personal items, and accessories. We're looking for team members who are excited to grow alongside us and help shape this next phase.
About the Role
As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you'll report to our Team Leads and play an important role in both customer experience and day-to-day store operations. You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, creating memorable shopping experiences, and contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace.
Whether you're helping a customer find the perfect piece, replenishing displays, or supporting store operations behind the scenes, you'll be an essential part of our team.
What You'll Do
- Deliver warm, welcoming, and personalized customer service.
- Build genuine relationships with customers while creating an engaging shopping experience.
- Share product knowledge and confidently recommend jewelry, accessories, and gift items.
- Support merchandising by maintaining beautiful, organized, and well-stocked displays.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving shipments, and restocking merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
- Work collaboratively with Team Leads and fellow associates to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Contribute positive energy that helps foster a supportive and enjoyable workplace culture.

- Has previous retail or customer service experience.
- Appreciates quality jewelry, accessories, and thoughtfully designed products.
- Is friendly, approachable, and naturally connects with people.
- Brings positive energy and helps create an atmosphere where customers and coworkers feel welcome.
- Is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Is available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
