Build on your career experience by:
Providing Support and Delivery of Diversity Services
Coordinating Language Services (Translation and Interpreter Services) provided by Lower Mainland Interpreter Services (LMIS) with/to internal Fraser Health departments.
Working with Ethics Services to align projects
Developing and monitor contract agreements with translators
Supporting the delivery of translated patient education materials to FH clinical programs, leaders, departments and staff to facilitate and improve communication with their patients, residents and clients.
Monitoring service needs and future demands for both interpreter and translation services in conjunction with Diversity Services staff.
Your background includes:
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the area of linguistic diversity engaging communities within a complex healthcare or community setting, inclusive of experience or knowledge of translation and interpreter functions.
An equivalent combination of education, training or experience is accepted.
