We are looking for a full time kennel team player for 2-3 night shifts (noon-730pm) and Saturday and Sunday shifts (8am-6pm) totaling 34-40 hours depending on agreement.
A strict attention to detail is a must. Primary duties include animal care, exercise and enrichment and maintaining a clean and organized hospital.
Duties will include but are not limited to keeping cages clean and sanitized, walking, feeding, picking up after animals, general hospital cleaning, laundry, reporting on the animal's condition to the veterinarian or technician; bathing, nail trimming, assisting the technician and doctor and some reception duties to aid the full-time receptionists. Avimark knowledge would be an asset but is not required.
Cleaning is a HUGE part of this job and we have high standards. Excellent record keeping and time management is expected. Grooming experience an asset but not required.
