Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for our clients and their customers. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a clean workspace.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure consistency
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Reliable transportation is a plus for scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
