Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plating Technician to join our PCB manufacturing team for the afternoon shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plating coatings to various boards, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet strict customer specifications. This role requires chemical handling aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to operate machine programs efficiently.
Duties
- Operate Copper Plating Line and managing equipment with little supervision
- Adhere to customer specifications
- Evaluate and discontinue processing of non-conforming products and report it to the supervisor
- Follow production and control scheduling
- Handle checmicals safely
- Review all traveler (report) instructions
- Load the line and tape PCB boards
Requirements
- Understand of and effectively follow PCB standards and applications
- Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Strong knowledge of military and rigid-flex PCB boards an asset
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
