Overview
We are seeking a professional AZ Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight delivery, possess a valid AZ license, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair is preferred
- Ability to operate forklift and other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to schedules
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and work in various weather conditions
