Employment Type: Temporary Part Time 0.5 FTE Tentatively September 30, 2021
Hours of Work: 0800-1600 This position will require travel and visits to potential COVID-19 positive locations in Northern Alberta.
Wages: Commensurate with Education and Experience
You will assist in the orientation and on boarding process for new and current employees.
You will participate in assessing, planning, developing and implementation and evaluation of education programs and tactical planning, and other related duties as required.
You will facilitate education programs that maintain competency of staff
You will manage the delivery of educational services to site(s).
Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma is required.
Current registration and in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
Minimum of five years working with the frail elderly or disabled.
Minimum of two years education experience.
Microsoft Office Suite applications experience is required
Travel is required to care homes that may be on COVID-19 outbreak. A personal vehicle is required.
