Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and restorations, ensuring precision and adherence to patient specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on craftsmanship and patient care. Prior experience in dental laboratories or related fields is preferred, along with familiarity with dental terminology and CAD technology.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants based on detailed prescriptions and specifications
- Utilize CAD software to design and modify dental restorations with precision
- Prepare models, wax-ups, and molds for casting or 3D printing processes
- Collaborate with dentists and lab staff to ensure accurate communication of patient needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the fabrication process
- Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for various dental restorations
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software relevant to dental design and fabrication
- Prior experience working in a dental office or laboratory setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Laboratory experience with hands-on fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures is a plus but not required
- Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
