Creates and designs engineering drawings for various projects. Inspect required parts prior to assembly along with inspecting the project once assembled to ensure compliance with design. Maintain and store all design files related to the project. Standardize all CAD design templates & drawing process
Create and design engineering drawings for projects (such Manufacturing & assembly drawing for all Engineering Systems, parts or Sub-Assembly) using Inventor, Solidworks and AutoCAD
Develop drawings in the required software and format for the project.
Maintain engineering drawings and associated files with the appropriate software
Validate parts that will be used in each project, prior to assembly.
Review projects once assembled to ensure compliance with design.
Attend meetings, such as product training and group meetings as required.
Reverse Engineering parts or systems (take BOM & dimensions) to issue drawings
Education: College diploma in Engineering or related field
Work Experience: 2-3 years
Knowledge: solid knowledge and proven experience working with various file formats, including: DWG, IPT, IAM, IDW, SLDPRT, SLDASM, DRW, DXF, SAT, STEP, PDF, and JPG
