Summary
Borealis deems this position to be an essential and key role within its organization for its operations and expansion in Northern America. The Business Development Manager would be responsible for Borealis’s interest and report to the President & CEO.

Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek other business opportunities to boost revenue and set our company apart.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, execute and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings;
- Willing to travel on a regular basis to locations in North America;
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients;
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions;
- Manage a CRM and a sales funnel to forecast opportunities effectively;
- Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met;
- Manage a team of Sales Associates across North America and set/monitor goals and KPIs;
- Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients;
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines. Support the Borealis team to estimate and prepare proposals for new commercial and industrial customers;
- Expand the parts and services ability of Borealis to our customers;
- Participate in collaborative weekly operation and sales meetings with the Borealis team to update key stakeholders;
- Participate in Business Development activities and initiatives;
- Participate in community events funded by Borealis.
Position Requirements

Experience in managing sales or marketing teams
- Sharp negotiation and networking skills
- Proven record of sales growth
- Educational background in business, marketing, or finance
- Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
- Strong knowledge of business development and sales growth techniques
- Proficient with computers and office software
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Multitasking and the ability to work with teams
- Self-organization skills with a hands-on mentality
- Attention to detail and a self-starter
- Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to travel within North America
