Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead and work alongside our crews on residential and commercial hardscape projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on job sites.
- Read plans, layouts, elevations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily tasks, materials, equipment, and crew members.
- Install interlocking stone driveways, patios, and walkways.
- Construct retaining walls, steps, and other hardscape features.
- Install and repair natural flagstone patios, walkways, and walls.
- Perform excavation, grading, drainage, and proper base preparation.
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other construction equipment.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
- Track materials, job progress, and report updates to management.
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.
- Identify problems early and provide practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscape construction and hardscaping.
- Strong knowledge of interlocking stone, retaining walls, flagstone, grading, drainage, and base preparation.
- Experience leading and managing a construction crew.
- Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour
