Clinical Operations Manager – Long-Term Care
Location: Markham / Richmond Hill, ON (serving multiple long-term care sites across the GTA)
Job type: Full-time, permanent | 35–40 hours per week
Our organization is a healthcare staffing and clinical management agency providing leadership and operational support to long-term care (LTC) homes across Ontario. We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across assigned LTC sites, supporting clinical governance, regulatory compliance, Infection Prevention and Control, quality improvement initiatives, and workforce development in alignment with Ontario long-term care legislation and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate clinical operations in long-term care environments.
- Lead Infection Prevention and Control programs, including policy development and outbreak management support.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario long-term care legislation, Ministry standards, and inspection requirements.
- Lead quality improvement, risk management, and incident review processes.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing leadership and frontline clinical staff.
- Support operational planning and transition for new or expanding LTC service contracts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Promote resident-centered and culturally sensitive models of care.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN or equivalent).
- Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare settings.
- Experience in long-term care, acute care, extended care, or community-based healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical program coordination, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong clinical leadership and organizational skills, with knowledge of Ontario LTC regulatory framework.
- Experience in quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in multi-site healthcare environments.
Assets (nice to have)
- Graduate education in healthcare management, public health, gerontology, or related field.
- Infection Prevention and Control training or certification.
- Experience supporting Ministry inspections and accreditation processes.
- Experience in gerontological care and dementia-related services.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages commonly spoken in Ontario communities.

Pay: $108,000.00-$138,000.00 per year
