Position Summary
The School Based Wellness Coach provides professional and compassionate coaching services to students and their families to support students facing mental health, interpersonal and socio-economic difficulties, in order to achieve academic success.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

Develop relationships with students and their families.

Provide support with mental health, interpersonal and socio-economic related issues.

Provide support to students regarding decision making, boundaries, social skills and healthy relationships.

Provide parenting support through community referrals.

Provide ongoing emotional support by connecting families through home visits, emails and regular telephone calls.
Education/Qualifications
-
Diploma in Counselling, Social Work or a related field
-
minimum of three years related experience
-
demonstrated experience working in community outreach and as a coach to students
knowledge of restorative justice practices

Rate of Pay
$36.04 - $45.67 per hour
