JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services (especially on trailers)
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics and repairs
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Performing scheduled maintenance service
- Installing various new units on trucks
- Maintain work area appearance and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active and valid 310T Certification registered under Skilled Trades Ontario
- 2-3 years practical experience with motor coach, heavy truck maintenance required
- Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required
- A valid class “G” driver’s license for the Province of Ontario
- Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification preferred
- Ability to use judgment and tact when dealing with general inquiries
- Lift heavy materials in excess of 75 lbs (i.e., trailer suspension parts, tires, drums etc.)
WAGE:
Hourly rate starting at 34/hour but, based on experience, a candidate may be offered more.
