Salary:
Starting Wage $28.50 per hour
Completion of Probation Period: $29.50 per hour
Monday to Friday rotation: one week working 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by one week working 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The schedule may also include weekend shifts as required to meet operational needs.

Care Human Services is an accredited, not-for-profit, charitable organization that supports Individuals with complex and diverse needs in Northwest Alberta.
As one of our valued Residential Supervisors in our Residential Program you will work directly with Individuals with diverse needs by encouraging opportunities for independence, well-being, and inclusion. Care Human Services supports Individuals with lower level needs to complex behavioral needs in higher stressed environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coach and mentor Support Workers
- Orient and support new staff
- Collaborate with the Operations Team Lead and Residential Supervisors
- Support development of transition plans
- Ensure routines and protocols are followed
- Work with the Behavioural team to monitor documentation
- Provide direct support with daily activities and personal care
- Assist with housekeeping tasks
- Support community involvement and physical activities
- Attend and support individuals at appointments
- Coordinate supports based on individual needs
- Administer medication
- Complete documentation in line with policies and procedures
- Completing documentation that is consistent with Care Human Services' policies and procedures.
- Care Human Services supports Individuals 24/7, these positions are rotation based, and shifts occur all day and throughout the night
WHAT YOU NEED
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Class 5 Alberta Drivers License
- Must be 18 years old to apply

- High level of communication and observation skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Be caring and compassionate, with a passion to make a difference in the community
- We are looking for someone who can work with a variety of different shifts/schedules
- Critical thinker and able to use common sense when presented with a high stress situation.
- Post-secondary education in any area of Human Services would be an asset and previous experience working in a similar role is highly advantageous, but not essential.
