Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time experienced Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Conduct product demonstrations, especially for technology-related items, to educate and engage customers
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions about features and benefits
- Perform merchandising duties to ensure attractive product displays and organized shelves
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professional phone etiquette
- Maintain organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations and meet sales goals
- Support team members with cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and time management tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in technology or related fields
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly and effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers through upselling techniques
- Previous experience in technical sales or product demonstrations is a plus
- Ability to work full-time hours with flexibility to adapt to store schedules
