Pedersen's Event Rentals is looking for a new team member to join our family owned business, which has been serving customers in the Victoria area for over 35 years. We are hiring a full time Warehouse Supervisor for our workplace that is collaborative and fast paced with a focus on creating efficiencies and delivering a high quality, professional service to our customers. Supervision or leadership experience is preferred. Much of our equipment is used for food service, so you must bring an excellent FoodSafe hygiene practice. The work can be high volume and does require the ability to lift heavy items and to stand for long periods of time. Kindness, the ability to juggle different tasks at once, and a great sense of humour are also key to this role!
Duties:
- Supervise up to 10 staff
- Assign tasks
- Show appreciation for good work
- Ensure the smooth, efficient delivery of day to day work and find ways to increase efficiency
- Accurately pack, check, and count-in orders
- Load and unload cargo from customers' vehicles and delivery vehicle
- Fluently communicate with customers in English to confirm details and address any concerns
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Clean and maintain equipment

- The ability to handle different tasks at once in a fast paced environment
- Strong spatial skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift items up to about 70 lbs. is an asset
Shifts are typically Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 4:30, but we sometimes work up to an hour or two later on the busier days in our high season. Your hours can be more flexible during the low season if you like.
