Cruise Travel Consultant - Job Responsibilities
- Assist customers with cruise enquiries, itinerary selection, cabin categories, pricing, promotions and booking arrangements.
- Recommend suitable cruise products based on customers’ travel preferences, budget and requirements.
- Prepare quotations, process reservations and collect required passenger information and payments.
- Communicate with cruise lines, suppliers and the internal operations team regarding bookings, promotions, itinerary updates and special requests.
- Provide professional after-sales support, including booking changes, travel documents, online check-in information and general cruise preparation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, booking details and sales reports.
- Follow up with potential customers and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Assist with general office administration and daily operational duties when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- One year of sales or customer service experience in the travel industry is an asset.
- Previous cruise sales or travel agency experience is preferred but not required.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin is a strong asset.
- Strong communication, sales and customer service skills.
- Good market awareness and an interest in cruise travel.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple bookings and customer enquiries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Calendar.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willing to learn about different cruise lines, destinations, cabin categories and promotional offers.
Training will be provided to candidates without previous cruise industry experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
