Job Summary
We are seeking a Receiver with Forklift Certificate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Aurora, ON. This role is ideal for an experienced Shipper/Receiver who is confident operating counterbalance and reach trucks while also supporting hands-on warehouse and inventory activities.
This is a steady weekday position in a manufacturing warehouse environment where safety, accuracy, teamwork, and reliable communication are essential. The role offers a balanced mix of forklift operation and manual warehouse work, with approximately 60% equipment operation and 40% manual duties. Candidates can expect a structured work environment, supportive supervision, and the opportunity to build long-term stability through a temp-to-hire path.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and store inbound materials according to packing slips, purchase orders, and warehouse location requirements.
- Operate counterbalance and reach trucks to unload inbound trailers and load outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
- Complete ERP system transactions and data entry related to receiving, shipping, replenishment orders, and inventory movement.
- Maintain accurate documentation for raw materials, production line inventory, and material transactions.
- Support physical inventory counts and respond quickly to details that impact inventory control accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area while following all company rules and safety procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $23 per hour.
- Annual equivalent: $47,840 per year.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
