Able is looking for a skilled Supervisor Foreman Carpenter with experience in concrete work. Project work involves but is not limited to concrete footings, foundation walls, etc.
Job duties:
Prepare and erect structural formwork for concrete foundations
- Build and set footings
- Construct suspended slab and erect columns
- Form concrete stairs
- Build retaining walls
- Erect scaffold and related support
Ideal Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude with team player focus
- Willingness to learn and improve skills in the concrete construction trade
- Ability to use a variety of power tools
- Ability to read/interpret drawings and blueprints
- Valid transportation

Qualifications
Supervisor Foreman Carpenter with experience in concrete forming work or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Knowledge of building construction means and methods.
Knowledge of Tabla, Peri and other modular forming systems are an asset.
Former Bridge work considered an asset.

Performing this job requires handling of objects, tools or controls, the ability to sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
