We are currently recruiting for a permanent Part Time Club Lounge Agent to join our Front Office teCANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA.
The duties of the Club Lounge Agent include, but are not limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.1. Set up of Sheraton CLUB buffets/snacks/drinks as per property standards
2. Greets, hosts and interacts with CLUB level guests/clients in a variety of shifts to include breakfast shifts and evening shifts
3. Clears dirty dishes, loading/unloading dishwasher and maintaining cleanliness throughout the club lounge
4. Ensures the Club Lounge is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times
5. Serves alcoholic beverages during evening shifts and posting charges accurately to guest rooms
6. Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of our hotel facilities and features
7. Stays well informed about Club Lounge offerings to confidently assist guests
8. Submits order requisitions for supplies as needed
9. Responds promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns, and follows up to ensure satisfaction
10. Documents daily notes in the logbook and follows up on outstanding items
11. Handles incoming calls from other departments and assists as needed
12. Maintains a professional image at all times through appearance and conduct
13. Understands and consistently follows Sheraton brand and property standards
14. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the MOD, Front Office Manager, Director of Rooms Division and/or General Manager
Qualifications:
*Must hold legal authorization to work in Canada
*Must have valid SmartServe certification
*Must be flexible with shift/scheduling availability to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts - morning shifts start as early as 6am
*Must have weekend & holiday scheduling availability
*Must have excellent oral communication skills
*Must be able to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially
*Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks
*Must have excellent organizational skills
*Must have completed minimum Secondary School certificate
*Previous hotel and/or front desk experience an asset
*Knowledge of Galaxy Lightspeed an asset
*Must have ability to work with minimal supervisionam and work 5 shifts per week - 4 to 5 hours per shift.
