Scope of Work
The successful candidate may assist with or perform:
- Portable line boring
- Bore welding and bore repair
- Face milling
- Flange facing
- Hot taps and cold taps
- Precision portable machining
- Welding, fitting, and equipment repairs
- Set-up and operation of portable machining equipment
- Field measurements and equipment inspections
- Repairs to heavy equipment and industrial components
- Reading drawings, blueprints, and technical measurements
- Troubleshooting field machining and repair requirements
Who We’re Looking For
Experience in portable machining is an asset, but it is not required for the right person. We are interested in candidates with:
- Welding, machining, millwright, fitting, or mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn portable machining and line boring
- Experience with heavy equipment, oilfield, construction, or industrial machinery
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s licence
- A willingness to travel to field locations and work overtime when required
- A strong safety mindset, positive attitude, and dependable work ethic
