Liberty Village Animal Hospital and Canary District Animal Hospital are progressive and privately owned clinics in the downtown core of Toronto. Our hospitals provide top notch care to clients and their pets, and our doctors all have backgrounds in general and ER medicine. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Animal Care Attendant, preferably with good receptionist skills to join our team on a full time basis, no weekends or holidays. This new team member would be primarily involved with animal care, client care, assisting both veterinarians and technicians, some reception duties and would partake in cleaning/maintenance of the hospital (along with the other team members)
Our Hospital is equipped with:
- Full in-house Idexx diagnostics
- Digital Idexx radiology
- Digital Dental radiology
- Ultrasound
Qualities and skills we are looking for in a candidate:
- Experience working in an animal hospital
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Willingness to learn new skills
- A team player
- Very comfortable with client communication using a variety of platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Organized and efficient
- Friendly and fun
