Capital Yardworks is looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Landscape Construction Crew Member to join our growing team. This position will work alongside our landscape construction crews on a variety of residential and commercial projects, assisting with site preparation, installations, material handling, equipment operation, and general construction tasks.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape construction projects including site preparation, grading, installations, and site clean-up
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, backhoes, and other machinery as required
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with the installation of landscape construction projects
- Perform general labour duties including digging, shovelling, raking, lifting, and moving materials
- Work alongside crew members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members
- Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project timelines
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence required
- Previous experience in landscaping, landscape construction, construction, or general labour
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, or backhoes is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently when required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Construction or landscape construction experience is an asset

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, hands-on, and willing to do whatever is needed to get the job done. This position involves a combination of physical labour, landscape construction, equipment operation, and supporting other crew members.
The successful candidate must be comfortable taking on different responsibilities depending on the project and be willing to contribute as both a crew member and equipment operator when required.
