Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Inside sales representative with a background in Plumbing and mechanical wholesale along with sprinkler, or mechanical or steel trades to answer the phones, take customer orders and support our day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of pipes, fittings, welding materials, and fabrication processes, and will be comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and the shop team. This role requires someone who is organized, responsive, and confident in handling both technical and administrative tasks.
You will manage everything from quoting and ordering materials to coordinating Staff priorities, while maintaining a professional and knowledgeable presence in all communication.
Responsibilities
· Answer and manage phone calls and emails from customers and suppliers.
· Prepare and process quotes, purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices.
· Order materials and fittings from vendors based on project requirements.
· Coordinate and track shipping and receiving materials and fabricated items.
· Understand and interpret pipe schedules, fittings, and materials for specific jobs.
· Maintain accurate and organized records of inventory, orders, and timelines.
· Communicate clearly and promptly with customers, vendors, and the fabrication team.
· Follow up on project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
· Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries, demonstrating product knowledge.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Support basic accounting and cash flow tracking as needed.

Pay: $34.00-$44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
