Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Welcome and support patients to ensure a comfortable experience
- Take and develop dental x-rays, if certified and permitted
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support scheduling, coordination, and general clinic flow
- Follow all infection prevention and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate of a dental assisting program or equivalent relevant experience
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a dental clinic is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
