Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be crucial in delivering an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques is a plus.
