Opportunity: Forklift Operator (Fort McMurray locals only)
Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off
Job Location: Syncrude
Opportunity Description:
The successful candidate will have valid Forklift certificate and multiple years of experience operating. The candidate must have experience working in tight and congested areas within the Syncrude site. Duties will include loading and unloading of equipment, pipes, valves, and other misc. items. The successful candidate is eager and willing to help out the team in all areas including labouring duties.
Qualifications:
Education, Skills & Experience
- Experience with the following on forklift; rough terrain, outdoor forklift, vertical mast.
- Other relatable certificates would be considered an asset as well.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract
- Valid Operating certificates for Forklift
- OSSA BSO or CSO certificates are required
- Syncrude Site experience is considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on an industrial job site
- Must be physically fit with the ability to lift 40 lbs
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated a history of safe operating work related practices
