Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding customer service at the front desk. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and a passion for hospitality. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse range of guests. Previous hotel experience is preferred. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, candidates must be available to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, with most shifts scheduled during daytime hours. Part-time employees who regularly work 20 hours or more per week may be eligible to participate in the company benefits program, which includes extended health, dental, and vision coverage, subject to the terms and eligibility requirements of the plan.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle guest inquiries, reservations, and requests efficiently
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and transactions using front desk software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests and ensure room readiness
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and customer service at all times
- Support other front desk duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred but not required
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of guest services best practices and hospitality standards is desirable
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
