Axis Mechanical is a growing commercial mechanical contractor and we are seeking 1st–4th Year Apprentice Plumbers & Gasfitters to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for apprentices looking to gain hands-on experience, steady work, and long-term career growth in commercial plumbing.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and follow drawings, specifications, and site instructions
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required to facilitate installations or repairs
- Install piping, fixtures, and mechanical components using a wide range of tools
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Follow company and contractor safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Registered 1st, 2nd, 3rd Year or 4th year Apprentice Plumber or Gasfitter
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel to job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Pre-employment plumbing or gasfitting training
