Cleaning Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor with experience in hospitality housekeeping. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Inspection: Maintain and ensure properties meet a 4-star standard. This will be completed by completion of cleans, inspecting and training.
- Training: Onboard and train new hires, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Amenities Management: Ensure all amenities are properly placed in rooms and kitchens are correctly stocked with inventory for guest arrivals.
- Lost and Found: Collect and manage lost and found items from Room Attendants.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report any required maintenance to the maintenance team and log issues appropriately.
- Storage Management: Ensure all housekeeping storages are well-stocked and organized.
- Team Support: Assist the team in the field as required.
- Guest Requests: Attend to in-house guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on inventory and supply needs to the Housekeeping Manager.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License: Essential for the role.
- SMART Phone: Our scheduling and checklist are app based.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry.
- Language Skills: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in extensive physical activity daily.
- Service Orientation: A strong commitment to providing excellent service.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible Schedule: Must be available for varied shifts. This position will require weekend and day work. No evenings.
- Physical Demands: The role involves significant physical activity and lifting.
- Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the responsibilities of the position.
