Position Summary
The Industrial Ventilation Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial dust collection and ventilation systems at customer facilities. This position involves mechanical installation, spiral ductwork, filter replacement, preventative maintenance, and occasional troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
The successful candidate is reliable, professional, safety-focused, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install industrial dust collectors and air filtration systems.
- Assemble dust collectors and related equipment.
- Install spiral ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Replace cartridge filters, bag filters, HEPA filters, and other filtration media.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections.
- Complete a comprehensive inspection of customer equipment and identify maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with dust collection equipment.
- Replace diaphragms, airlines, gauges, valves, and other service components.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete service reports and communicate findings clearly with customers.
- Represent CleanAir Dynamics professionally at all customer locations.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with industrial installation or maintenance experience.
- Experience with dust collection, industrial ventilation, HVAC, millwright work, sheet metal, or related trades is considered an asset.
- Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms.
- Comfortable working at heights in industrial facilities.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Must consistently arrive on time and demonstrate excellent attendance.
- Willing to travel to customer sites throughout Ontario and occasionally work overtime when required.

- Working at Heights Certificate
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP/Scissor Lift/Boom Lift) Training
- Forklift Operator Certification
- WHMIS
- First Aid & CPR (Asset)
- Tag out lock out (Asset)
