Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Reservations Agent to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, solid computer knowledge, and a passion for customer service in the travel industry.
This is a fast-paced office environment with changing priorities, requiring strong organization and multitasking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries, including follow-ups
- Assist Travel Agents and direct clients with bookings and inquiries
- Book airline flights and hotel accommodations
- Collect and input detailed passenger and booking information
- Perform manual data entry and transfer to reservation systems
- Process payments, invoicing, refunds, and adjustments
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Conduct research and support administrative tasks as required
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Travel Agent or in Travel Reservations (required)
- Travel or Hospitality Diploma/Certificate (required)
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (required)
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge (pricing, taxes, discounts, refunds)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with sales and client interactions
- Travel insurance experience is an asset

- Day shift: 9 am-5 pm
- Monday to Friday
