Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting fuel to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Operate fuel trucks safely and efficiently to deliver fuel to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Load and unload fuel using appropriate equipment, including forklifts if necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and transportation regulations at all times
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, including automotive repairs when needed
- Assist with freight handling and other related duties as required
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in fuel transportation
- Ability to operate trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict safety guidelines
Pay: $0.20-$0.37 per hour
