Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, craft quality beverages, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The bartender will be responsible for serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling, including Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and quality
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, especially in a bar or restaurant setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Ability to serve efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
