San Gennaro is located in Montreal’s Little Italy and known for its authentic Roman-style pizza al taglio, artisanal pastries, and quality Italian coffee.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing dough, topping and cooking pizzas, managing orders and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
Schedule (Part-Time)
Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stretch pizzas according to San Gennaro recipes
- Prepare pizza dough and ingredients for toppings
- Monitor the temperature of the gas pizza oven as well as cooking times
- Manage food orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Package pizzas accordingly
- Ensure workstation and all kitchen tools are clean
- Cook other menu items as needed with the support of the kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory
Experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to follow recipes
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Excellent team work and communication skills
- Bilingual French and English is ideal
- Minimum 1 year experience in pizza or 2 years experience as a cook
Pay: $21.00 per hour
