Summary
We are seeking a Gatehouse Guard to join our dedicated team in Ontario. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and supporting our company's mission of providing reliable security solutions. The position is based in Ontario and offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the safety of our community.
Responsibilities
- Monitor access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct surveillance and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities.
- Maintain detailed logs of all activities and incidents.
- Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
- Use CCTV systems effectively to monitor premises.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or background in law enforcement or security roles.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus.
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
