Applications are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Access to Practical Nursing Diploma program at North Island College.
This sessional instructional assignment, up to 100%, involves teaching the practice course PNS 107: Consolidated Practice Experience Access within the APN program via a face-to-face delivery method within a Comox Valley community agency.
Note: Practicum placements will take place in a variety of practice settings and may require travel. Applicants need to have access to reliable transportation.
The successful candidate will implement creative strategies in the preparation and delivery of practice course activities; use initiative in providing documentation and follow-up with regard to student concerns and problem resolution; and, bring facilitation skills to management of conflict. The schedule for this assignment will be flexible to meet the needs of the program.
