Merlin Plastic Group is looking for Forklift drivers to move materials or products for recycling. The deserving candidate will be loading/unloading trailers using a forklift. They are handling and processing the materials appropriately. They remove finished bales from the baling machine and feed bales into the line for processing, loading, and unloading trailers.

Responsibilities:
Report to work on time and adhere to assigned shift schedules.
Complete forklift safety checklists at the start and end of each shift.
Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers and move materials safely.
Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns immediately to the Lead Hand.
Ensure materials and plastics are placed and dumped in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas by sweeping, wiping, and shoveling.
Organize and clean the warehouse, docks, and bale machine areas.
Inspect bales before cutting wires and ensure bales are clean and free of contamination.
Wear required PPE, including face shield when cutting bale wires.
Group and organize pallets by category (broken, green, natural).
Accurately measure and weigh products.
Complete and submit all required paperwork daily.
Assist other departments (HRB, shipping/receiving) during downtime.
Follow all SOPs and company safety procedures at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Valid forklift certification (required).
Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Basic computer or paperwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and accountable.
1 year of Forklift Experience (Mandatory)
