Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely preparation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before they are served to customers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service times
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
