As the Shipper / Receiver at Mindset, you will play a vital role in managing our shipping and receiving operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipments and receipts of products, inventory records, and organizing the warehouse space. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare outgoing shipments according to shipping guidelines and customer requirements
- Generate shipping labels and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations
- Organize trailer drops and pickups with various trucking companies
- Load outgoing trailers accurately and safely in a timely fashion to meet site delivery requirements using forklifts and other equipment
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage and accessibility of products
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve any shipping or inventory-related issues
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Perform other tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, preferably in the lighting industry
- Familiarity with shipping portals and enterprise resource planning systems (ERP)
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (40Lbs), and perform physical tasks as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage projects autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to produce high-quality work
