This is an opportunity to work for one of Canada's largest building suppliers as an Accounting Clerk with room to grow.
- Accounts Receivable / Invoicing
- Checking the accuracy of prices and verification of quantities Sales order vs. actual delivery slip
- Printing and sorting for mail or email as per customer’s instructions & requirements
- Run & distribute Monthly statements of accounts
- Record storage of Printed invoices & delivery slips in to les
- Bank Deposits
- Enter customer cheques, Wire Transfers, credit card payments into their accounts to post a bank deposit in system
- Check for discrepancies in amount paid for further accounting entries
- Make copies of discrepancies for adjustments in accounts (Credit notes or follow up with customer later)
- Record storage for daily deposits Credit Notes
- Investigating & collecting backup & information to support credit note request, getting approval and processing credit notes in the system
- Record storage
- Accounts Payable /Entry of Bills for General overheads, Garage and oce supplies into GP
- Payroll
- Calculate time on time cards and summary sheet, enter hours in payroll system, verification of entries
- OTHER DUTIES / Assist Accounting Department as needed during vacation or absence of other employees
- Any other duties assigned by the controller based on the workload or the organizational needs Must Have:
- Minimum 3 – 5 year of experience in accounting
- Diploma in Accounting or Business Admin or equivalent
- Familiarity with an ERP system (GP & BISTrack) will be considered as an asset
- MS Oce, General concept of ling and storage, faxing, copying, phone reception etc.

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
